Is it May already!!

Ok, I'm getting really bad at updating my blog, it's been 3 months since the last one although it really doesn't seem like it wasn't that long. There is a good reason behind the lack of posts and that's the fact I've been so busy. Wedding season is now in full flow, I've also had football matches to cover, a weekend covering football schools, corporate headshots over in Blackpool and a whole host of pre wed meetings and enquiries.

I also managed a day at the Photography Show in Birmingham and a day at The Societies Roadshow in Wigan learning a little more and adding to my gear.

It's lovely to be this busy but now it's back to editing whenever I can and just trying to fit life in around everything else that is going on. Bookings have been really busy for next year and a few more for later this year. It's good to know this is happening without a great deal of marketing, but I know this needs attention as well as updating websites and social media. These are all constants in the business and it's crucil these are managed to ensure I continue to get the bookings I need.

The priority for now though are my couples and their special days. I last posted after my only January wedding for Emily & Sam. Since then I've covered these wonderful weddings

Brooke & Kieran - Heskin Hall

Tom & Sally - The Villa, Wrea Green

Lyndsey & Martin - Holiday Inn, Bolton

Olivia & Luke - Ribby Hall

Annabel & Patrick - Shaw Hill

The weather on the whole has been pretty chilly still but I had my first outdoor ceremony with Olivia & Lukes wedding at Ribby Hall. Things are finally improving and warming up I have two weddings over the bank holiday and one the following week as well as a wedding anniversary party.

Although I'm doing less than last year at the moment I still have 27 weddings booked for this year and 16 already booked for 2025, which is more than I've ever had so far in advance.

So things are going well and I'm looking forward to a busy summer meeting lots of new people and capturing some wonderful moments.

Hopefully the next blog will be in less than 3 months!
